Lopez Fit

Lopez Fit is Lopez Island’s Community Gym.  

Lopez Fit is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization formed by and for Lopez Island residents. 

We provide our community with the many benefits of health and well-being through our well equipped gym, a diversity of classes, and our enthusiastic staff and our members who inspire us all.

Our mission is to have our gym facilities available to the the entire Lopez community!  To that end, we subsidize 52% of our gym memberships by partnering with Medicare insurance-sponsored programs.  These programs allow us to extend a full membership to many seniors while accepting a reduced rate from their insurance companies.   We also offer discounted memberships (scholarships) to people with limited incomes.   In 2024, we subsidized $20,377 for Medicare insurance sponsored programs for seniors and another $5,325 for discounted memberships.

Our fundraising goal for 2025 is to fund our discounted and Medicare-sponsored memberships.  

Your donation helps us offer discounted or fully-subsidized memberships to those in need, ensuring that everyone has access to exercise facilities and classes.
